Jabariya Jodi movie review: Siddhartha Malhotra & Parineeti Chopra is not suitable for the plot at all.
Jabariya Jodi tries to give a message but loses its path. It tries to enlightened a serious problem of society with a lighter moment but loses its way .

In Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, where 'pakadwa Shaadi' is a trend, & grooms and goons are only two, who mint money, Abhay Singh comes into play where he ensuring that no dulha demanding dowry and make jabaria Jodi ( forced couple). Director tries to enlighten this serious issue in a pinch of humor. Because of Some comic scenes and dialogues, people won't get bored in the first half though many of them are not suitable with the plot at all.
In the second half, the story becomes somewhat melodramatic, & lose the impact of the message that it tries to deliver.

Film's main character Siddharth Malhotra is not at all suited as a small town Gunda even with colorful shirts, scarfs, sunglass, the actor not able to match with his character & the same thing goes for actress Parineeti who is always look glamorous with his designer dress. Even at the time of her emotional breakdown, his glamorous touch makes it a little bit unrealistic. Parineeti is a girl who beat her boyfriend in public and a very bold, 'bomb' character and at the same time, her ' bechari' type attitude in the mid scenes is also not convincing as well. Javed Jaafri and Sanjay Mishra are suitable in their own character and Aparshakti Khurana as a friend-zoned lover is perfect and makes it realistic.
